I’m using Evanescence theme, accidentally, I edit the HTML code, fatal consequences, the theme display have chaotic, I can not do anything to repair. And then I was downloading again the theme on this site. Thankfully the theme back to normal.
I’m sorry I’ve not been attending to this theme and not responding to the comments here for the long time. I intend to update the theme soon.
Thanks all for the feedback.
Could you help me?
Could you tell me how to reset the font size in pages, how to show the content of the comments instead of someone comment on some pages.
thanks very much.
You can change the font-size by changing the font-size property under
bodyin style.css. And I’m sorry I don’t understand “how to show the content of the comments instead of someone comment on some pages.”about ‘How to show the content of the comments instead of just a title(reminder) of someone comment on some pages.’, means I want show what the reader says here, instead of just show: ‘someone take comments on article.’
You probably mean the recent comments displayed on the sidebar. That’s the way it works, but if you want the content of the comments to be displayed on the sidebar, you can check out this plugin: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/get-recent-comments/
about ‘How to show the content of the comments instead of just a title(reminder) of someone comment on some pages.’, means I want to show what the reader says here, instead of just show: ‘someone take comments on article.’
Hi, Srini, thank you for your reply. I have resolved my problem of font-size.
Now except for the problem of ‘how to show the content…’ mentioned last time, I have another problem: ‘when I create a new article, there are three parts of area I can write in:Title, Text and Abstract. but whatever I write in, after I release the article, in the abstract area, it always shows the content I writed in text area.’.
Could you tell me how to resolve this problem? thank you very much.
The Abstract or ‘Excerpt’ is shown only in special circumstances. Like when you search for a term, or if you choose to show only the excerpt in the RSS feed. Otherwise, only the full content you write in the text area will be shown.
Srini
Beautiful theme.
Am using Plainscape. Simple and clean.
Thanks
Thanks

I have sent a mail indicating a bug in my template…in short is that when I try to insert any widget in the sidebar all tha characters that you inserted such as ABOUT, RECENT POSTS, CATEGORIES etc.. just dissapear. I just found this theme awesome and I don’t want to make many changes on it but I need to have some widgets of myself together with your sidebar… I hope you understood

sorry the link is http://www.delaorden9.co.cc/wordpress
Well, it’s not a bug, it’s just the way the theme works. You have widgets for ‘About’, ‘Recent Posts’, ‘Categories’, and all that you want….
If you still want to have the default sidebar along with the widgets, you will have to make some changes to the sidebar.php file. If you are not sure how to do it, contact me, and I’ll help you out.
thanks Srini, yes I would like to make some changes as to allow insert widgets in the sidebar. I tried the file sidebar.php, opened it with notepad++ but couldn’t see any field to make a change so please tell some more my friend…
Ok everybody. I think Mister Srini is too busy to reply so please somebody help me…
I just can’t get any widget to work unless the themes default. When I drag and drop the widget to the sidebar, the default widgets of the theme just dissapear (PAGES,CATEGORIES etc…) and I want them to stay together of third parties widgets…
Another issue is that my feeds seem no to work (maybe my fault) When I click RSS 2.0, or Entries(rss) or comments(rss) a message show saying this :
Erro no processamento de XML: declaração xml ou de texto fora do início da entidade
Posição: http://delaorden9.co.cc/wordpress/?feed=rss2
Número da linha 2, coluna 1:
^
Translation(free) error of Xml processing: xml declaration or text out of entity beggining. Position : http://delaorden.co.cc/wordpress/?feed=rss2
I really would like to stiky with this theme but unfortunately is working crippled here in my blog… Appreciate your valuable help
