Evanescence, my first ever WordPress theme is a simple blue on white fluid width theme with two columns. The theme is released under GPL. Feel free to use the theme on your WordPress weblog and provide your valuable feedback. Contact me if you have any problems installing the theme or if you find any defect that needs a fix.

The theme can be downloaded from the WordPress theme directory.
Installation
- Extract the evanescence.zip file in a convenient location
- Copy the ‘evanescence’ folder to ‘/wp-content/themes/’ directory in your web server.
- Log in to the WordPress Administration Panels
- Select the ‘Design’ menu.
- Select the Evanescence theme from the available list of themes to preview
- Activate the theme.
- Click ‘View Site’ at the top of the Panel’s screen. Your selection should immediately become active.
Check this page regularly for updates and newer versions of the theme.
Fixed.
I used your flexipages widget to take care of the problem.

I’d like to help on making the (Fluid Blue) theme translatable, but you could certainly do it with less effort and in less time. Feel free to contact me about translating the themes to pt_BR, though.
Any chance of WordPress comment threading, and a way to login from the comment page?

my next question is, I have many categories and subcategories, Subcategories should only open when I click on them
Hello Srini, first congratulations for your excellent work. You are a special person.
I tried different styles and none of them was simple enough and attractive enough. Finally I discovered your theme and installed it. I become adventurous and did some changes (increased the font slightly and added a header picture). The font is now great but the insertion of the header picture changed two things:
1. Moved the search box below the header. I can live with that, especially if I can add a border around it.
2. I lost the beautiful top corners. My picture is 480px wide by 90px high and I am very happy with the looks. In fact even the sharp corners are OK. If there is an easy solution I will greatly appreciate it. The change I did in the lower part of the header.php is:

Hello ib, in my case it worked OK (I only lost the rounded corners), I am not sure if it is allowed to post an email here but anyway here it is:
Send me an email at elpizo@zhteitai-komma.com and I will send you details of what I did. I basically did some minor modifications to files style.css and header.php, uploaded a new picture in my site and placed the link in header.php
Unfortunately the details in the above message were cut and it is not clear what exactly I did
After searching though all schemes on wordpress.org I must admit that evanescence theme is one of the best.

But I have some question about it…
Does “Evanescence” Compatible with WordPress 2.8?
And comments list don’t decrease progressively, even I tried to set the admin. But the newest comment always not show on the top.
