Plainscape WordPress Theme — version 1.0

Glad to announce the release of a new WordPress theme. ‘Plainscape WordPress Theme‘ as we call it, is a plain and simple theme that just works!

  • Fixed width
  • Two columns
  • Right sidebar
  • Supports comments threading (WP 2.7), comments paging (WP 2.7), gravatars, post tags, sidebar widgets
  • Compatible with WordPress versions 2.5 to 2.7, and possibly with older versions
  • Valid XHTML and CSS
  • Simple / minimalist / plain / clean / blue / white

The theme is released for free to the public under the GNU General Public License (GPL).

Download the theme from the Plainscape WordPress theme page.

PS: I have been out of touch with comments and feedback by users of my older themes and plugins. The next few days I will be spending time on my themes and plugins and be able to answer all your queries. Thanks for your patience!

  1. Hello!

    Srinis way doesn´t work on my blog. So i tried this:

    in Header.php, changig formerly “Bloginfo”.

    Hope it helps some people…

    Please excuse my bad English 😉

        1. And again me… there´s no way to send an E-Mail to the author… :-(

          You find a discription of my solution in my blog. Please look there.

  2. How do you remove a specific page from the Nav bar up top? (i know how to do it from the page list in the sidebar, via the widgets). I cannot seem to find a way to do this from the top navbar (is this something that needs to be done in the PHP?

    1. Firstly note down the ID of the page you want to exclude. And then open the file header.php and look for the following code somewhere around line 30.

      <?php wp_list_pages('title_li=&depth=1') ?>

      replace it with …

      <?php wp_list_pages('title_li=&depth=1&exclude=3') ?>

      I’ve assumed that you want to exclude the page with ID 3.
