Plainscape WordPress Theme — version 1.0

Glad to announce the release of a new WordPress theme. ‘Plainscape WordPress Theme‘ as we call it, is a plain and simple theme that just works!

Features

  • Fixed width
  • Two columns
  • Right sidebar
  • Supports comments threading (WP 2.7), comments paging (WP 2.7), gravatars, post tags, sidebar widgets
  • Compatible with WordPress versions 2.5 to 2.7, and possibly with older versions
  • Valid XHTML and CSS
  • Simple / minimalist / plain / clean / blue / white

The theme is released for free to the public under the GNU General Public License (GPL).

    Srinis way doesn´t work on my blog. So i tried this:

    in Header.php, changig formerly “Bloginfo”.

    Hope it helps some people…

  2. How do you remove a specific page from the Nav bar up top? (i know how to do it from the page list in the sidebar, via the widgets). I cannot seem to find a way to do this from the top navbar (is this something that needs to be done in the PHP?

    • Firstly note down the ID of the page you want to exclude. And then open the file header.php and look for the following code somewhere around line 30.

      <?php wp_list_pages('title_li=&depth=1') ?>

      replace it with …

      <?php wp_list_pages('title_li=&depth=1&exclude=3') ?>

      I’ve assumed that you want to exclude the page with ID 3.
