I like how this main page displays the comments and has the reply input field, this is what I’d like for an index page using this template. How do I do this? Thanks very much!

Nomad, you can do all that you want by editing the style.css file. If you are not familiar with css, you can learn it here — http://www.w3schools.com/css/default.asp

  3. Nomad says:

    Hi,

This theme is exactly what I was looking for! Is there a way to insert a header image/banner? I also want to increase the size of the header so that I can insert an image of something like 1100X250 pixels…thanks!

  4. Cecilia says:

Perfect, just what I needed. Thank you very much!
    Cheers! =)

  5. Srini says:

@ Cecilia, in your style.css, under #content, change the border-right color from #eee to #222.

  6. Cecilia says:

Thanks Srini, I am glad to hear that.

By the way, I think you can help me. As you can observe, the lower part of my sidebar is white. Any clue on what parameter controls that? Thanks!

  7. Srini says:

Cecilia, I like the way you have customized the theme. Nice looking colors and the photos in your site are great too!

  8. Srini says:

mitchellirons, yes it’s possible. The post title is under class ‘posttitle’. For example, .posttitle a {color:#ff0000;} will display your post title red.

  9. Cecilia says:

Excellent, the best I have found in Wordpress!
    Thank you Srini.

  10. mitchellirons says:

    hi srini,

this is a nice theme. it isn’t overburdened with many graphics or frames.

as you can see at the site above, i’m messing around with the colors, dramatically, but I’m keeping the framework the same. Is there a way to have a different link color for the post title and all other links?

    Thanks,
    mitchellirons.com/words
