A modern parivrajaka

In India, ‘parivrajaka’ is a term applied to certain class of wandering monks, who never stay at a place for more than a few days to and keep moving just like a flowing river. Here is a modern parivrajaka cyclist Janus River, who keeps pedalling 50-100 km a day, sleeps in the open and eats fruits and whatever he gets locally. This 72 year old Russian born Italian has covered 75,000 km across 74 countries in the past 7 years. He says that even at this age, if one can go around the world with little money, what you need is determination, patience and will power to learn and adjust with new things.
